Before Buying Tickets

  1. The Buying Process
  2. Are Wristbands Transferable?
  3. Layaway Plans
  4. What Is A Ticket "Tier"?
  5. Is It OK To Buy From A Third Party?
  6. Can I Purchase Tickets Over The Phone?
  1. The Buying Process
From our tickets page, the “buy now” links will take you to our ticketing site hosted by Front Gate Tickets. Front Gate handles all things associated directly with your purchase order including customer service for things like payment, order changes, wristband shipments, etc.

Create An Account: When you add a ticket to your cart, you will be prompted to create or sign into a Front Gate Tickets account. This is required and is the account you will need to log in to if you ever want to review or update your order. It’s a good idea to create a Front Gate Tickets account ahead of time if you are buying at a busy time and want to be able to move quickly.

Time Limit: Once you add a ticket to your cart, you will have a limited time to finish checkout. So be sure you know what you want before going in. This is done to make sure that everyone has a fair chance at the limited ticket volume and nobody can hold onto them indefinitely without purchasing them.

Layaway Plans: Near the end of the checkout process you will have the option of splitting your order into multiple payments. This can be done to any order and will split your ENTIRE order cost based on a percentage.

Customer service and getting prompt help: Your best contact for ticketing related support is Front Gate Tickets. They can also be reached by phone at 888-512-SHOW (7469).

  2. Are Wristbands Transferable?

    Wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-EXCHANGEABLE.

  3. Layaway Plans
Select “Layaway Plan” near the end of the regular checkout process, and you will be able to split your purchase into multiple payments.

Layaway Plan schedule for passes purchased before December 6th

Payment 1: (Down payment) 16% of base price + fees
Payment 2: 22% of base price due December 6, 2019
Payment 3: 22% of base price due January 3, 2020
Payment 4: 22% of base price due February 7, 2020
Final Payment: 22% of base price due March 6, 2020

Layaway Plan schedule for passes purchased between November 22nd and January 3rd

Payment 1: (Down payment) 7.5% of base price and fees
Payment 2: 30.83% of base price and fees due January 3, 2020
Payment 3: 30.83% of base price and fees due February 7, 2020
Final Payment: 30.83% of base price and fees due March 6, 2020
  4. What Is A Ticket "Tier"?

Ticket pricing tiers are our way of rewarding fans who purchase their tickets early. All tiers of the same ticket type are the same exact ticket, just at a different price. The Tier 1 prices are the lowest price, and when they sell out, we roll into selling tier 2. When tier 2 sells out, we roll into selling tier 3, etc. So it’s always better to buy early.

  5. Is It OK To Buy From A Third Party?
Only wristbands purchased through our official ticket website are guaranteed to be authentic, with properly coded and activated RFID technology. If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through the link on our tickets page, frontgatetickets.com or through a friend’s link in our OFFICIAL ambassador program powered by Verve. In the event of a festival cancellation, your tickets may only be refunded when purchased through our official site. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival. WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO GET SCAMMED!

Please be aware: We are not responsible for any counterfeit tickets, wristbands or car passes. In addition, any wristbands reported lost or stolen will have their RFID chip deactivated and will not be valid. For your own protection, please do not purchase wristbands from any source other than highwaterfest.com. Fake or deactivated wristbands may look like the real thing but they will be identified by our scanning system at the front gates. Those in possession of fake wristbands – or ones reported lost or stolen – will not be admitted to the festival and the wristband(s) will be confiscated.

Removing a wristband automatically voids it (unless by accident or for safety reasons, in which case you need to get a replacement wristband from a customer service booth at the festival – this will require you to prove your purchase information). Festival Security will check every wristband to assure it has not been removed or passed between multiple people.
